Hudson County Community College offers classes in a variety of modalities, including online, hybrid, remote, and fully on-campus; the modalities are described on the Course Types page. Hudson Online courses, delivered via Canvas, feature no scheduled meeting times, with the flexibility to learn at your own pace within each weekly unit. (In contrast, courses designated as “Remote” meet via a videoconferencing tool on specified days and times during the semester.)
There are now 24 fully online degree programs, featuring a variety of online electives. In addition to fully online programs, many individual courses are available in the online modality; click here to view all online course offerings
Technical Requirements. You must have access to a computer capable of running the latest version of your web browser, and a reliable, fast internet connection. Always use the latest version of your web browser, and set your browser to allow pop-ups. We strongly recommend the Chrome web browser for Windows and Mac computers. Here are the current system recommendations and advisories from Canvas.
